The Cape Town Men’s Convention is almost upon us.  We are gathering in Hermanus and will be meeting at the Dutch Reformed Church in Onrus from 13-14 September 2013.  This is a great opportunity for men from all parts of the Cape to get together, enjoy fellowship with one another and most importantly, to study the bible and pray together.  This year, our guest speaker is Jomo Mchunu – rector of Christ Church, Hillcrest.  We will be thinking about what it means to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls and minds as we look at the book of Deuteronomy together.  There will also be electives where we will consider some of the things that might get in the way of us loving God wholeheartedly.  The electives will include issues like pride, leisure and busyness.
